DEPLOYMENT OF SENSORS

SPECIFICATION
Signal Processing Unit (Main Amplifier and Power Module), featuring 4 tuning controls - input gain,
frequency, band width, and separate output volume for 2 monitors. Power is provided by 4 x CR123A
Lithium ion batteries.

Monitoring time using the Contact Microphone or the Microwave Doppler Contactless Microphone is up
to 10 hours in either case. For an extra long monitoring period the optional Remote Powerpack can be
plugged in to the SPU to give an additional 10 hours therefore giving a capability of up to 20 hours of
monitoring. The Remote Powerpack feaures 12 x LCR 123 re-chargeable batteries and also features an
integral mains operated Battery Charger. The SPU is now a super lightweight module featuring state
of the art electronics with enhanced gain and signal filtering. The unit features 2 Spring Clips to enable
easy attachment to the mounting tapes on the Molle system used on most modern combat body armour,
a shoulder strap is also provided as an alternative. SPU weight is 610g.
12v Jumper Lead for use with Vehicle Battery as an alternative Power Source.

2 x Headphone/Microphone Set permitting two people to monitor micrphone or sensor and to communi-
cate with each other with full duplex communication, without interrupting the monitored signals.
